Fred was a member of the Gideons Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Caruthersville, Missouri for 49 years. He was married to Janice Boyd on Apin Butler, Oklahoma. He received his Master of Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1972.įred worked for the Caruthersville Public School System for 37 years as a teacher, coached numerous sports, and retired in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1966. He graduated from Minco High School in Minco, Oklahoma in 1962.įred was Honorably Discharged from the National Guard of and as a Reserve of the Army of the United States in 1962. He was born on Apin Minco, Oklahoma to proud parents Roy Thomas and Iva Ruth Boyd. Fredrick William Boyd passed away of natural causes at the age of 76 in his home located in Caruthersville, Missouri on August 16, 2020. ![]()
